Martial Sanchez Rashford is definitely a top 4 front three. As long as the ball is played on the deck. Mourinho just wanted to smash it long to Lukaku, but obviously Lukaku has the first touch of a donkey. Agree that with the right manager they'll improve. Hopefully they'll just get one of their ex-players.

zidane is an ideal mentor for pogba...french, similar player, similar skill set, enough charisma to get pogba to work. if i were woodward, id get him in just for that reason.

United have already improved just by getting rid of Mou without even kicking a ball.
Nobody managing them is better than what they were at.

Their centre backs are awful, as are all their options at right back. in fact Shaw is the only half decent defender they have. The rest are average at best. If it wasnt for the keeper they would be 4th from bottom, never mind 4th from top.
They need at least 3 defenders and with only a caretaker in charge they wont sign anyone significant in Jan.
Top 4 a huge ask for any caretaker manager who takes charge.

Lindelof is actually decent, but has had all confidence coached out of him (in combination with a poor start and being slate by the press). He's always ace for Sweden. I think the French lad is alright as well, but Mou's murdered him.
