I said it in the match thread - last season we had games where we were struggling (Southampton, Bournemouth, etc) but we found a way to win them. Now we don't seem like we even want to win them. We're just fuckin about with it outside their box then we go back to the half way line. There's no urgency at all.

Liverpool are going to get knackered, I'm sure.

Also, the huge slices of luck they had against Everton will even itself out. Injuries as well- have they had ANY to their midfielders or strikers this season?

Spurs are shit. Just a flash in the pan. If they lose once, they'll lose again. That's already happened this season

We're having our low right now. If we bounce back quickly we're still in with a shout. Liverpool's big dip is still to come. I didn't think I'd say it, but Spurs are looking very good tooand they sort of had their dip at the start of the season.

After the Chelsea game we said we need to get better. We were 1 point down.
After the Palace game we said we need to statt and play something. We were 4 points down.
After the Leicester game we said we needed a wake up call. We are 7 points down.

A month ago we were 2 points ahead. In one week time we could be 12 down.

What went wrong? Injuries. Yes, a big factor.
The arrogance? Very important also.

Stupidity? Hell yes.

I remember Delph in All or Nothing saying: “we were certain we were going to win the Champions League”. I think this is what we are, a overhyped media product that thinks they are better than they actually are.

Btw, if Scouse will keep the tempo, they will surpass the record from last season.

Never heard of it before, pulling back a 7 point gap, especially at this point of the season. I'd take top 4 now, with Dave, Aguero and De Bruyne coming back, and having a few minutes, we may just be able to keep the Rags out.

If we beat them they don't need to collapse. Just have a couple of games like the Everton one without the Pickford intervention.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

New Years resolution will be to not listen to Talk Shite anymore. Just switched it on to hear" I am just glad City are not running away with it" Really?

Liverpool are but not bothered about that and coming from a rag fan as well! You can probably guess which bonehead said it.

I'm finding the PL a little boring these days.

It's still ours to lose. We have the best team in the league, the best manager and the best fans. We have been hampered by injuries this season, which has led to too many (forced) changes to personnel. That has contributed to players losing form. Dippers have had no key injuries and shit-loads of luck, from calls going their way to "Pickford-gate"! It won't last. People point to Leicester's title win but they had no pressure, the dippers will feel it more as "their year" gets closer. Then they'll crack. Keep on their tails until then and our class will prevail.
