They are a very different set up since 2014. Can't see this collapse happening.

Same. 2014 they were riding the confidence of Bodgers. Now they have a better set up.

Game over then, let's hand it to them now.

Anyone remember 76/77 ? That was us & scouse right down t' wire ; I'm reminded of that season - reckon this one could end with the same 2 sides in the top 2 places separated by a point - dunno which way round though.
Can't see Tottenham going down though.

A Christmas stat to cheer you all up.

In eight of the past 10 seasons, the leaders on Christmas Day have gone on to win the Premier League.

The two exceptions were in 2008-09 and 2013-14 - and on both occasions it was Liverpool who slipped from top spot to finish the season in second.

I'll be perfectly happy if there is no more than a couple of points in it either way come the end of March.

Having spent the day with the warped one's #Rags. You get a taste of what it was like when we were on the roller coaster known as MCFC. Downbeat for 2.5 years, 1 win at Cardiff. We could beat PSG was one comment. OLE could be like Di Mateo, win the CL ya never know !

I let it all slide. Until 23.15 just as they left. I pulled my brother as he fell into his Mrs car and just left him with one comment to stew on.

If PSG did not turn up you would be lucky to get a draw mate, Meltdown.

'We're back. City have had their time at the top, now time to step aside and let the real champions go back where we belong'.

Third as it stands. But the most important thing is how we are playing. Or not as the case may be. We need some inspiration from somewhere and we need it fast. Anything other than a win at home to the dippers and I fear the gap will be too much

Amazing what a couple of weeks will do for your title chances.

Ok look we can't win the league every season. I don't expect us to win it this season. And that's fine hopefully we will bounce back next season.

But watching the insufferable vermin walk away with it is too much to bear.
I would prefer anyone else to win it.

Liverpool are coming into a position where they don't excel - leading from the front at the halfway stage is just to early for them. They feed of the energy of the anfield crowd too much and are too emotional in games. It is going to feel like they have 19 cup finals coming up.

We need to get through this spell and get the leaders back into the team and strangle the life out of games with the minimum of effort.

We'll beat Liverpool on Saturday.

By next Friday, you'll only be a point behind them. Mark my words
