***champs v liverpool official match thread***

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

A few things:

1. THE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RESULT TODAY IS ME. Before you chaps get all over me, I need to tell you why. Before the Soton game I decided to change my lucky City shirt that I wear every single game. I had it last season, but this year it looked like it lost the mojo he had. So, in the past two games I used the shirt we had in 2015, were the only two games when City played and I wore that and in both we came back after we were equalised.

2. This game today was won with HEART. This is what I want and demand from my club, to give their all, win or lose, but to give everything they got on the pitch and they did that. Proud of every single one of them, proud because they showed they care and proud that our manager knew how to make them spit fire.

3. Bernardo Silva & Fernandinho. I swear, I think I saw the best game for both of them here, and they had some world class performances in the past. Bernie was all over the field, kicking, swearing, running. I am amazed. IN-FUCKING-CREDIBLE.

4. They are still favorites, but they are bleeding. We showed the whole world that their mighty Liverpool, the team that won NOTHING with that fucking lunatic is vulnerable and CAN BE BEATEN IF YOU PLAY SMART.

5. The experiment with Laport as a left back worked today. Made mistakes, but worked, and I hope that will not be dust in our eyes and we will understand that we need a proper solid fella there.

6. The atmosphere was INCREDIBLE. Take a bow, chaps, who was there tonight take a fucking bow, you made us all proud tonight how you showed those fucking murderers how fucking amazing you were.

7. Did I say how good Fern and Bernie were?

8. In the end I want to say a sincere FUCK YOU LIVERPOOL, FUCK YOU AND YOUR FANS. YOU ARE A FUCKING WASTE OF SPACE IN THE WORLD.

What a fucking night!

COME ON, CITY!

PS: Not always at his best, many times off guard and sloppy, but Vinnie is the leader who we can't replace ever, ever, ever.

Was shocking how they couldn't say what everyone could see with their own eyes. Henderson gets away with murder every week.

Sterling's signature move, but he hardly ever gets the deserved pen for it.

Home tie. Against lower league opposition. Put a couple of young uns in. Walker and Delph can come back in. KDB can play. Foden will play. Mahrez is fresh. We will be fine

Klippetty Klopp moaning that Kompany should have been sent off because the sand dancer could have been out for the rest of the season. No mention of the rugby tackling haggis hunter on Raz. He's shitting himself now. Hopefully his nervousness works into his team.

Fair dos , the scallies were up for it .

This is football at it's best . Top players in the world, all touching cloth , worried about making a mistake - at this level.

And that little street urchin Kun goes and scores a goal that only street players can score .

Great game . Fern was brill but Bernardo was everywhere.

We have a Silva midfield for the next decade !

Sourness now talking about Liverpool's run in being better than City's. Fuck sake we've played two games of the 2nd half of the season. We've played Southampton and they've played Arsenal but we've played away already at the hard teams.

On NBCSN pundit......

"Mo Salah does Kompany a favour there by jumping out of the way" in my day that was called self preservation from an incoming tackle, i.e. part of the fookin game
