Why does Walker need game time? I would think the opposite is the case.
He has been playing non stop since August 2017.

kdb should not be risked in a throwaway game (imo) against lower league opposition with nothing to lose...

We patched up and battled on playing Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday. I have wondered whether they would throw their game at Wolves in an attempt to unclog the fixture list for February, March and April. They won't sacrifice Europe as they believe they are European royalty but at the same time, Klipperty needs to put a trophy on the sideboard. I'm not sure he can afford to throw away a chance to do so. In the meantime, we have the opportunity to rest SOME players in both domestic competitions. We have been very fortunate with the draws, we rarely weaken too much, so lets put a decent side that is more than capable of winning. We can reassess if we get through, based on who we get and what the league situation is at the time. Don't throw away any chance of some glory. Who knows we might need it later.

I can't see them throwing the game and since they would then be losing 2 in a row.

In addition to the team above, Dave can do 30 mins, ditto Stones.

Hoping for a draw at Wolves to give Dippers another game.

Especially against a pub team.

I think this type of game is ideal to help him build his match sharpness back up rather than a high intensity PL game.

Disagree - against a lower division player he stands more chance of receiving a stupid tackle and considering hes just come back from a pretty long term injury , we should not risk it.

In truth I don't know what Luke Bolton does but I had to look on the squad list for number eleven.

What was that other little kid called who came on for a bit in the Cup and looked like he'd played for ever? Sanchez??

Sterling?

Is this match on TV ? Here in Australia there is no FA coverage at all this season but was hoping to find a stream.

On topic I think we have enough non starters and youth players to rest the whole team that played against the scouse. Would like to see Jesus score a hat trick today.

I want it, no questions asked, but we are still in 4 competitions and our squad is not fit enough to win them all. So, my 2 cents, we should sacrifice it.

Fuck off.

1) Let’s face it we are not winning the CL.
2) And if we drop some unnecessary points in the league and scousers run away with it, we will suddenly find ourselves with a situation that we have nothing left to play for if we fuck off the FA Cup!
