Clough was 30 when we signed him and then went on to play 10 more years.

No, we are not, I was just pointing out what will lose Dave as years will pass by. His skills and passing will remain the same, like it did with Iniesta, Xavi, Pirlo, etc.

I did not see Clough play for us, just highlights, I am just curious if it was really necesary for us to buy him when we did.
I just checked, we got him in 96, so he was 30 at that time.

Haha just end the convo now then mate. At least five people have told you the same thing.

And also Dave's never had speed.

OK, here's the headline if we get one more. Picture of Merlin with the headline "The Captain and Ten-Nil"

There were no highlights

He was all we could get. Then we found out why

Wasn't it around the same time we were offered Figo for about £2 million and said no?

I think you misuderstood me, Mase. I have genuine no opinion about him, that is why I asked, how people see him and if he was any good for us. Got my answer, but I was curious, why did we go for him, because I was convinced we got him at 33 and not 30.

At 1-0 I thought we looked a bit shaky.

The under 16s could play and not lose 9-0

We won't be disrespectful in the next game but it will allow us the opportunity to pick and choose when it counts.

Well done Pep, well done Man City!!!
