Which is it? Unsportsmanlike or not British.
Ridiculous. The constant diving and cheating and trying to get opponents sent off and fooling the refs. Is that unsportsmanlike?
I'd like to see that stamped out before any criticisms like this are addressed.

Nidge says he's resigned over this?
Absolutely ridiculous.

Apparently a load of bollox.
He’s going nowhere.
Produced a dossier on all championship teams that he’s compiled and a video of Derby match from last year where he total disected them for the press showing s guy with binoculars by the roadside had little to do with the preparations he put into that match.
Owned them apparently.

Good for him.

I thought his press conference was pretty great. Probably had a bunch of British managers saying "oh fuck" since they do 1/10th the work that Bielsa puts in.

I love what he did and basically told everyone to get to fuck.

Also gave a detailed explanation on how to beat derby.....

Well this one goes into the football history books. Simply amazing.

No wonder Pep loves him.

Totally schooled everyone thinking he was going to resign, and instead gives a 70 minute professorial lecture showing insane levels of attention to detail to scouting and analysing opponents since last season (so way before the incident) and basically saying the spying is mostly to help him with his anxiety!!

Also completely makes Lampard look like a fool after trying to out him and act like that's why he lost, and now Derby's tactics are all out in the public. Oops!

LMAO. Brilliant.

Great read and summary of it all.

“When I was a coach of Athletic Bilbao we played Barcelona in a final we lost 3-0,” he said, referring to the 2012 Copa del Rey. “I gave all this information I have shown you on Barcelona to Pep Guardiola. He said to me you know more about Barcelona than me! I do this analysis to ease my anxiety.”

Can't see what all the fuss is about, just a man doing his job. Nothing amazing here. A non issue. Lampard should keep his mouth shut and eyes & ears open. He might learn something from this man.

The only reason I say I don’t blame Frank for not being impressed is Bielsa has basically shown everyone how to beat Derby.
Don’t blame Bielsa one bit. He put the press in their place.

Derby were just collateral damage.

Good experience all round for Frank, he should have the same level of detail on Derby's opponents. Perhaps he does. And now he knows how they assess his team. Its not often you get the chance to see what your opponents know. If he can exploit it, could be a big plus for him.

It's very clear that Southampton all had window seats in that lecture.
