Haven't they capped the attendance at an even lower capacity since the start of December?

Tyler said 80k there today.

Just checked - I thought their attendance was supposed to be capped, with it being reduced incrementally throughout the year to around the 48K mark. Turns out, they're supposed to play the full season at 'reduced capacity', but can pick & choose a few games to be played at full capacity, depending on the amount of other events to be played at Wembley at full capacity. It's normally limited at 51K, can be increased to 62K with a "planning application" (?) and in exceptional circumstances can be raised to the full 90K. Seems a bit dodgy to me that they're allowed to do that.

6 from 6 and people will be asking for him to get the job permanently. Then he’ll tank in the market and killthem off for 2 more seasons. Happy days.

On the other hand it should bury that 'Spurs are contenders' media chestnut

Yes.

I thought the new manager honeymoon might come to an end today, but on the plus side it might persuade them that no signings are needed in this window, then appoint him permanently and drop off the end of a cliff.

It really is quite fantastic. They now are in a big quandary. Keep this buffoon or appoint someone else. Give him 6 years now and be done with it.

I hope OGS continues to do well and gets the job. I can't remember any caretaker manager who does enough to earn the role permanently, who goes on to do decent job. They are usually sacked within 12 months of getting the permanent role.

Good shout, was he a caretaker? I couldn't think of anyone when I was discussing this at the weekend.
