Very true.
Can’t help feel the fear factor we could bring by destroying teams like tonight’s, would be huge.

But, I suppose you have to think of squad management as well as game management.
If we have confidence that we won’t slip up then I suppose you have to look at the long run and conserve energy and mind players.

Next.

Very happy with that nights work. These monday night games are shite.
Just needed to control the game and win. We did both.
Can't ask for any more than that.

How the fuck have Sky twisted that tackle to be the same as the Vinnie tackle on Salah?

Pampering fuckers!

The only similarity is that both left the ground.
Boly went in studs first. Straight leg through the ball. Vinny was a challenge in front of the ball.
I actually don’t think either were red, but I’m probably in the minority.

Don’t think we’ll be seeing much of Yaya as a pundit.
Not very interesting and basically just stating exactly what has happened. Not much insight.

Looking at Boly’s challenge again, I think I’d be a bit disappointed if one of our lads was sent off for that. It’s the inconsistency that is what is wrong

Without Blue tints on I thought Vinnie's was a good challenge and it was only Salah's feigning that brought the card. There was minimal contact and he was bringing his leg down which meant there was no excessive force.

However, the Boly one was head-on and he kept his studs raised in order to take the player as well, and to take it further, he seemed to lower, then raise his foot to ensure contact.

Ps. Just heard Nunez, who was stood 10 yards away, say that it was a red. Not often you hear that.

PPS. Thought his side played really well considering their game plan. Was a little worried prior to the game but that rightful red card calmed the nerves.

Not sure about anybody else but I'm quite enjoying the Yaya piece. He's not made it all about him and plenty of City footage.

I get that, mate, but try to take any item in an objective way. My pre-judgement was that he'd love the club but have a dig at Pep but he's done nothing of the sought. He's had nothing but good to say about it all, talking about his input but mainly about the other players and managers.

The excitement and fist pump on seeing the Sergio goal made me smile, immensely ;-)

8 attackers. 9 if you count Ederson.

Just a list of great strikers

Can’t wait to see him as a manager. Bit of a fruitcake.
