Think I'll be supporting Newport in the replay.

So will I. Though we should beat either of them to be truthful.

Would mean more for Newport though I guess

Did you guys not see Spurs trying to play on the Newport pitch?

They are a league 2 outfit. And not a very good one at that.

So basically the final is us v the winner of rags v Chelsea, but it might take place in the 6th round or later.

Let's take it slow, remember Wigan last year and what happened there. The game will be very difficult no matter who we play.
I would take Newport, I hate playing Pulis away from home.

Memories of Middlesbrough 8 - 1 City (last game before the takeover season?)

I was there

And 1-1 and 2-2 in our last two league games when they relegated.

No replays. Boro would probably be a better stadium to play a one off.

Cracking cup runs so far. Let’s hope this goes through the cl if we keep progressing as well.

Wigan last season (Delph' s red card aside) was very much about the cow field that they share with egg chasing team warriors. Turns out (not really surprisingly) that Newport also share a cow field with a bunch of egg chasers, therefore I would rather we went to the riverside.

Fuck pulis we know he's found his managerial level, even if they get promo, he will get sacked next season for not cutting the mustard.

I’d like to draw them so all the pundits can remind them how unprofessional it was to put 8 past us on the last day of the season. That’s obviously he rule right?

Exactly. In cups Boro have lost at home to Burton and drawn with Newport. Can't see them winning on the Welsh cowfield. I reckon we'd win about 8-0 at Boro but Newport on a bad day will be dodgy as hell

I think that's harsh on Spurs, they are more mid-table League 1 than League 2. ;)

I can see this is going to be one of those years when it's City/Chelsea/Scum against some absolute crap team in a non-event final. Just hope it's us!!!

Can see us playing Chelsea in both cup finals. That would be something after already playing them in the community shield

Newport. Thought they would.

Worst result but there to be beaten
