Did he not do an interview recently saying he knows his form has been poor and he deserved to be dropped and he needs to get back to the level he was at last season.

Nothing wrong with his attitude, just hope he can regain that form as he was immense last season.

Seen a few tweets in this thread showing his poor attitude?

Just had a message from a Scouse mate calling Walker a "class act" and saying how if a Liverpool player had done the same thing "everyone would be losing their shit", and how he hates the "double standard".

What is this shit all about? How do the two fanbases have such different views on this so called 'rivalry'? I've kept a very open mind, assuming that the Twitter minority don't represent the majority of right minded fans that support Liverpool. I've made a point of saying so to the ones I know. Why is this nonsense still coming to my inbox?

Should be dropped for his form alone.

None of our players should be allowed near twitter IMO. It serves no beneficial purpose to the team.

Maybe it is just the way i think about it all. I try not to make spelling or grammatical errors , even with off the cuff and quick remarks during a match. It happens from time to time, especially with us all having phones with tiny keyboards and tiny, tiny fonts. It doesn't help if you have thick fingers either.

I also read and go back and edit anything i have written, if i spot a mistake i will correct it,not that it matters for me or most on here who post, because it doesn't.

Simply because some people read and contribute on here, some non native English speakers, from other Countries, who might be helped reading "could have , could've " instead of "could of" ( pronunciation winning against the written word).

It really doesn't matter too much on here (mcf.net) i suppose, to confuse "to" with "too", "losers" with "loosers". On more serious platforms, well, you can't really take the comment or the person who wrote it seriously, can you ?

As someone else wrote, i think all the players should be banned from using twitter , facebook etc., in any context relating to the business they're ( not their) in.

So, coming back to Mase's picture. Kyle " What was u finkin about wid dat comment about City when you were a spuds player " ? Social media comments can come back to haunt you.

Fuck me, one of our players takes the piss out of the scousers and your all up in arms?

The bloke should be given a knighthood in my book, the GPC got one for it.

Ps. I like Kyle Walker. He's a Centurion.

Beefy, if I was a Liverpool player i'd print off that Tweet and whack it on the changing room walls. Enough motivation to shove it in our faces. He shouldn't have done it.

By all means, if at the end of the season we win the league and he jumps on twitter and gives it them, then great!

I don't think any one has an issue with Kyle taking the piss out of those clowns. However, due to his poor performances this season and the margin between us and them, the timing wasn't exactly ideal. With it being so tight and no margins for error, we need to lay low and focus on getting back to our best. For some strange reason, seeing the media's reaction this week, he may just exerted more pressure on them inadvertently

yes it all comes nicely together with the scouse cleaning up the snow in the Leicester penalty area zone and Klopp coming out with the daft statement about the snow - following on from his complaint about the length of the grass the other week .

I hope the Count plays Zabba against Salad on monday.

Talking about his attitude towards what he does on the pitch. He admitted his standard had slipped from last year and was desperate to get back there.

Don't give a shite what he tweets about

Genuinely, what's shown us that his attitude has been good on the pitch?

Social fucking media.

Get out on the fucking pitch, do the best you fucking can, week in, week out. Give less than 100% and you can fuck off.

The fans work fucking hard and will be lucky if they earn in a lifetime what you earn in one fucking season.

It was funny though.

As I understand it neither Mendy or Walker run their own Twitter account. Can that be right?
