FA Cup Quarter Final draw

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Fuck me, just seen that last angle of Smalling's arms locked right around Ruddiger, yet Keown still insists it's not a penalty! And why didn't VAR show the full incident?

This is what I was worried about, VAR can be manipulated to suit whatever arguement they want.

Surely the var is not only looking at what we see on the screen. Surely they have a few screens with different angles going at the same time

All of the cameras' outputs are recorded all of the time. The VAR team can look at any of them at will.

Also to point out they don't use the TV feeds at all, the cameras are specific to the job of VAR

I didn't think f it like that but, sorry, I just can't hope for a Rag win.

It's ingrained isn't it. Don't know what I'll do when they play dippers.
Probably sit in a quiet room and read a book

Well that's odd. I would wear a united jersey if it meant they would beat Liverpool

I would be surprised if the rags bet the vermin.
They play shite football.
The days of that shite are over as PSG showed them and sadly the vermin will probably show them as well.

From the angle they originally showed I thought exactly the same, and that was what VAR wanted to show. However, they showed a wider clip a few minutes after and you can see clearly that Smalling's had his arms clamped around him. Whatever the outcome, the fact that VAR showed a shortened version where it looks like there's no real contact has to be questioned.

Also, did you notice Kanye going skits in the area, claiming a handball to take the ball away from him. The commentary team waved it away as a possible foul on Higuan but there wasn't even a replay. Kanye was furious and adamant that something happened but not even a glance from VAR.

Also, did anybody think the Rags got nearly every call, whether it be major or minor?
