MCF.net shirt fund raiser UPDATED

Postby CTID Hants » Sun Feb 17, 2019 5:30 pm

You may have noticed the thread entitled SITE CRASHES, basically WW has advised we are being targeted by Chinese bots causing crashes which I am sure we have all experienced this at some stage.

This lead to the question if we needed to chip in with some coffers in the pot to keep this place safe.

Cornish John suggested a new ManCityFans.net Tshirt. I am not sure how long ago it was we last did this (we've had 3 previous shirts), so would like to gauge interest in such an idea.

If there is enough interest we would run a design competition open to all posters.

Maybe in addition to a tshirt we could offer a hoody or sweatshirt, but first let's find out how many would want in.

If you revisit the Site Crashes thread you will find a few simple ideas I knocked up on using street shirts.co.uk , I am NO budding designer, so feel free to think of your own designs.

In theory this should be easier to do than when back in the day when Patrick took manual orders, once we have a design hopefully you can choose your own size, colour and if you want hoody tshirt or maybe both. I need to investigate this with some of the web sites,

****UPDATE****

Ok I will leave this live until after our the Wembley game as some don't visit daily.

On the pin front this would be a little more complicated than Tshirts/sweatshirt/hoodies.

The first company I have spoken have a minimum order of 50 pieces, I will keep digging.

The clothing side looks straightforward, once we have a design or designs the web site will issue links for us to have on the site. Chose your design, type of shirt/top, size and colour, order and pay direct and they send a commission to WW or whoever holds the purse strings. Also added bonus worldwide shipping is available for £6 per shipment, UK is £2.99

Cheers

just a thought , the logo looks pretty cool on the sample t-shirts . We've all got loads of t-shirts , what about a nice Pin ?

Although i have no problem with another t-shirt.

Can count me in to buy a new shirt if available. Still got all three previous mancityfans.net shirts in the cupboard and also the pin lying around somewhere.

I'm the one who voted no but not because I think you shouldn't do it, I think you should. However I wouldn't buy a t shirt but would defo buy a pin badge if some of them could be made?

Maybe add pin badge as an option.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

I've always liked my mcfcfans tees.
And I wear a badger every day, so I'd be in for that.
