Winning Trophies

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Winning Trophies

Postby dazby » Mon Feb 18, 2019 3:13 am

We are currently 22 straight wins (not taking into account two legged ties) away from winning the lot.

Have you thought about it? Dreamt of it? Considered it?

What a time to be a City fan.

We can win all 22 and still not win the title, if the scousers win all theirs they’re champs and there’s nothing we can do about it now.........can’t see it somehow !

Well we are now odds-on for all three domestic trophies and favourites for the Champions League. Who'd have thought it eh? City, our City.

A domestic treble is very difficult, even now. I think 2 out of 3 is more likely.
I don't think we will win the CL.

As long as we start with winning the first one I’ll be happy for now. Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves

It's a very nice thought but after watching last night's game, and a few other Rags games since Maureen was sacked, my conclusion is that we won't be allowed to. The officiating was completely one sided and if you are now allowed to rip a shirt off the opposition's back,as well as being able to clamp your hands around a player so he cannot move, with no recourse from VAR, then you get the feeling that the GPC has been onto his stooges at PiGMOL and the PL.

Quite astonished last night, it was so blatant.

I often wondered how Smalling gets away with it, at least we have clarification now that it's not simply a case of the officials missing it.

Would be nice, but I still can't see it happening myself.

12 to go.

Amazing!

We are so lucky. Even if we fall short, what an amazing season.

I'm giving myself permission to get excited. Why not. We will look back on this in such glowing terms.

Woohoo!
