That's another win for the Rags, taking them to the heady heights of 5th with Chelsea a game in hand to knock them down to 6th.

To be fair, Spurs are not playing the rags in the next game.

Missing VAR in the North London derby. Kane clearly offside before being fouled and getting the penalty.

and that's where VAR would have helped. Clear offside.

How can the Linesman and Ref be so bad?

This is also the stupid problem with this tactic by Officials of waiting many seconds in the "Phase of play". Kane is offside , flag goes up , whistle gets blown before there is a chance of a header and the obvious foul thereby.

It's spoiling the game.

May have seemed soft , but it was more a penalty than the earlier one . Two classic examples of stupid defending.

The other one was 100% a penalty of it weren't for the offside. He pushed him in the back just when he was about to head the ball. In the second one there might have been slight contact.

I do agree that it was poor defending in northern instances though.

Wasnt there a stupid rule change in the summer so that you're not offside until the ball reaches you now so the foul happens first... I'm sure they only made that up to justify Shalkes pen against us!

Yes, they did. Seems it only applies when they want it to. Interestingly, I read that Peter Walton (ex-ref) said the goal should not have stood as he was offside yet the same idiot said ours was only a few days before.

And that is the standard of the English referee.

And the most worrying thing for me is that it is idiots like him who will monitor and administer VAR
