Phew. 3 points after playing 120 minutes 3 days prior is great.

Just too wasteful though. I remember peps barca side starting to overplay a bit too much late in his time there and we seem to be picking that habit up.

Fucking hell should have been ten. Bit silly from the players today. Must be feeling it which doesn’t bode well for future. Hope we can properly recover.

Important win.

And remember that Watford are 8th in the league. This is how the 8th team of the league looks like.

Chelsea 1 shot on target and win 2-0.
Pool score 5 from 10.
We score 1 from 7.

Bad day finishing but 3 points all that matters. We will have better days.

Bernando easily our most important player.

Any chance keV and Mahrez turning up this season ?

Three points are all that matters - still feeling the cup win. It was really important to win ugly, and they did.

Big win.

Thought we played well but even I am falling out of love with Mahrez.

Cheers TB, lasted the second half and loved the middle Eastern commentary.

Too many players looking off the pace at the moment and a bit out of sorts.
Kev ??
Sane a bit sulky.
Mahrez. Pffftt!
Dave below par.

A bit worrying.

And yet the impetus Bernardo gives us.
Even Foden looks lively and I think Gundogan is stepping up to the mark.

I think grinding out wins until Fern gets back is the order of the day.

Less worrying when you consider we won a cup 3 days ago and are without Fern or Laporte

Couldn't give a fuck about performances at this stage, it's all about picking up maximum points. How many games have we won since losing to the Geordies? Mahrez can stay away from first team.

Well I did take that into account.
I think fatigue will be a big concern for the weekend also.
This is where rotation should come into play.
But I worry that Sane sulks if he’s not playing.
I worry that Foden isn’t used enough.
I worry that Mahrez just isn’t an option.
I worry that we have no cover in the backs.
And I worry that Kev and Dave currently need to be rotated.

Other than that I’m fine with the team. They keep producing and long may it continue.

Debruyne improved tonight I thought, some great crosses that we really should've scored from, some great pressing from him too, still some sloppy moments but a lot sharper overall tonight .

Brilliant from Bernardo and Sterling, drove us to he three points.

Forgot to mention Ederson, excellent save from the crazy bastard.

Performances are going to suffer when you never get chance to rest and by trying to give players a break it will obviously upset our play/rythm.

Got to be happy with the outcome and great to see our 'Old' manager and players return to the holy land.

We looked much better when Bernardo and Sterling came on. West Ham only had one chance well saved by Ederson. One or two tired legs at the end including Sergio. We could do with Stones and Jesus back at the weekend. Danilo had a good second half linking with Bernardo. On to Bournemouth. I hope we don’t run out of puff.

Was it a penalty? Didn't see it but the Beeb match report says Bernardo went down under little pressure whilst Stones said it was very soft and one that the big clubs get, not the little ones (liked that comment)?

I thought it was a decent performance that somehow didn't result in goals.
Kev and Silva looked more like it.
Aguero was immense. Zinchenko decent.
Sterling was so direct he made an instant impact.
Komps and Otter worried me.

We have a tough game at the weekend, then Watford, Schalke and Swansea. We get a little breather after that and hopefully will have players back.
Flogging Sergio to death is a concern.
