Pep talking to talkshite; ' I want to stay at Man City for at least 2 seasons, maybe more unless they sack me, I'm not going to Juventus'. Complete denial, no hint of leaving. Case closed, talkshite little upset.

Talkshite; 'the Juventus link is from a reliable source, he called the Ronaldo link correct'?. Pep; not anymore, he's got one right and this one wrong, so it's 1/1 now! Absolutely brilliant, talk about a comlpete smack down.

Well done Pep:

"I have two more years here and I am going to move? Impossible,"

"Except if they sack me. Then after, I go home. But if Manchester City want me I will stay for two more years and hopefully another one.

"I am not going to go to Juventus in the next two years."

He added: "I know today that social media has influence but I don't understand, believe me. I don't understand.

"Why when someone says something on Twitter do the big newspapers say that for the next four years Pep is going to Juventus?

"I don't understand why the people saying I am going to Juventus don't try to call the club or call myself or call my agent or Juventus or Massimiliano Allegri. I feel so sorry for Massimiliano."

Pep, that is what real journalists would do, but these are not real journos!

Worth remembering that the club is run and setup to be independent of any particular individual manager - holistic.
Therefore, when Pep leaves the shock wave should be minimal - in theory.
Pep is a footballing genius, what he did in the PL last year proves that, so it remains to be seen if transition is smooth.

Thing is we are setup the opposite to the Rags when Ferguson left. Look at the fall out, that will continue Ole G is not the answer.
Also the Dippers. If Klopp left tomorrow they would be in big trouble.

Back in reality, Pep may be looking to stay and build a legacy:

Good shout, but isn't Gundo's contract going to end in 2020 and not this summer? He came in 2016 and signed a four year contract.

Yes, I read some bollocks recently where Gundo was planning on running out his contract and them moving to the Vermin, presumably to win loads of trophies and bucket-fulls of medals, as city don't win anything.

As if any right-minded footballer would ever do that...

I'd be happy if we extended Gundo by another 2 years on top of when his current deal runs out.
