We seem to be having a minute's silence nearly every other week for one thing or another ; why have one for something the other side of the planet, with no connection at all to football ?

Watford, Swansea, Wolves and Millwall were all at home for their FA Cup quarter-final ties this weekend, with the FA telling BBC Sport "it is up to the clubs if they want to hold a silence or not. We would support them if they did".

I accept your apology - I know when people have an agenda it distorts their outbursts. Happens to me all the time.

Have I missed something here? Did something change within the past 4 years on who/when minutes silence should be observed for? Your response just proves the double standards within football and society.

Peace x
