Sancho

Sterling has today deleted a Tweet of a picture of him and Sancho with the caption "So you actually have a buy back clause #agentRaz"

I'm guessing City made him delete it. Pretty much confirms we have that clause in there.

However Pep's recent comments on Sancho have pretty much confirmed he wouldn't bring him back - "He didn't want to take this challenge, this opportunity to discover if he was able to,” the Manchester City manager said.

We know what Pep is like when it comes to being right. But do you think he's making a mistake here, and cutting off his nose just because he doesn't like Sancho, potentially costing us a decent footballer?

Yeah fuck the team, fuck the rotation, it's all about playing Sancho. As a club we could do miles better at playing youth, we are simply not good enough for time being. On the other hand, Sancho could have left on better terms, however I understand why he did it. As for blaming Pep, Sancho has no interest moving for now, we could have offered 100m and he wouldn't move. He wants to develop before making a big move possibly next season.

Who said that?

I'm not blaming Pep, I'm asking if he's making a mistake by saying what he's said when really he could just keep quiet. He doesn't have to answer every question that's dangled to him by a reporter.

I don' think it confirms anything. It was Sterling's social media team ( same one that Mendy uses apparently) that put the tweet out.

It was his social media team then that put out the huge "racism in football" posts the other month?

I've no proof, I've been told by someone that works in media in Manchester that they use the same agency.

I honestly can't see his social media team putting the racism stuff he did the other month.

I dunno mate, just what I've been told. They work in consultation with him, his agent on whatever they're tweeting.

Regardless of any of this I don't think the tweet can be taken seriously even if it did come from Sterling.

As for Sancho, how much are we talking given the hype, it's a position we're strong, can't see him getting in ahead of Sterling/Sane/Bernardo.

This for me too. Couldn't be arsed fighting for a spot. Billy big bollocks. He was probably advised badly by his agent but the lad was the one who did not show up for training when he got left behind from the USA tour. Foden on the other hand went. He may well turn into a star but Pep and the club look for certain characteristics and the lad lacked them so he fucked off to Germany. Fair play to him for doing that but he won't be back at City

+1 He lied to Pep and Txiki, he accepted new terms the best we have ever offered a graduate deal done as far as the club thought, Turns out BBB, was talking to all sorts of clubs all along. No intention of signing. Some fans need to back the club, PEP SAID ON THE RECORD WE SHOOK HANDS on his deal, the next we knew (THE CLUB) He did not travel to the USA, He was not taking calls from the club and we found out he was wanting to sign for Dortmund. Ask him why, I do not know what happened, Lets be men about is code for ask that cunt and his agent. It happens I do not know why was Peps stance, it is football and no surprises anymore.

I may have posted this before but I believe he used City as a finishing school, he/his team were aware when signing for City how difficult it is to break into the first team but also was aware he'd get arguably the best youth coaching in the country as well as Europe wide exposure playing in the NextGen.

Agreed on all of this. He may turn out to be a star. But he is still a snide twat who potentially could be a bad apple in the dressing room. Perhaps not dissimilar to Hazard. Better off without him

I think we are making this kid the Mesiah. Like we did with Denayer.

The thing is the club wanted him to stay, but couldn't give him what he wanted. Let's not forget he refused to train. His chance would had came, like it did with every valuable youngester we had.
No one is above the club.

Kid has all the talent to make it. It's all down to his attitude and some luck along the way with injuries. It must be so difficult to be a teenage kid and have the world at your feet and having every fucker wanting a slice. That's when you need good people around you, which IMO he hasn't. The fact he still flies his barber out to Germany every other week has knobhead written all over it.

Shame as we had a gem.
