Just a little story to show the mark of a humble true blue and gentleman that was Bernard Halford ........ three or four years ago a work colleague and lifelong blue mate of mine passed away suddenly after a short illness , his family arranged a funeral service in his home town of Droylesden and contacted MCFC if they could send a reef in respect. Bernard Halford turned up representing Manchester City FC , “wow City are here” we all said . Bernard then gave a lovely speech in the church it was quite something and lasting . He did this all the time for the City community with no fuss just class and dignity, a true mark of the man and our club . Sadly missed sleep well pal x
