It's all very quiet in SW London

Normally after the International break there are loads of comments about the next match, not so this week. I am guessing that the home fans just don’t want to think about this one. Given the goal difference the cottagers have at the moment, you would have to agree with these predictions. I just hope we are not complacent and take it easy that never ends well. It’s going to be a nice day tomorrow, and I am jealous of the travelling Blues, who are going to have a lovely day on the river (this is my favourite away game).

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Kevin Friend
Assistants: Matthew Wilkes, Darren Cann
Fourth official: Roger East

Team Selection
Rico
Chambers
Odoi Nordtveit Bryan
Cairney Anguissa Babel
Ayite Mitrovic

And the rest…

I really cannot see how we can beat Man City. 0-5 defeat

Terrifying thought of Sane,Stirling,Agureo ripping into the worst defence in the PL doesn’t give me much confidence in a win.COYW

I know this is sacrilegious, but I hope city smash us. Can't imagine anything worse than getting relegated in the same year as Liverpool win the league
Let them build up their goal difference against someone else…I always want Fulham to win, I just don't think they will

A comfortable afternoon for Man City

City will rest some players and get a 3-1 win. First goal, 27th minute. (Fulham had a week off to practice defending and get past the 10 minute mark)

Record win for them,0-8 or even 0-10…Parker is sacked immediately, and Ian Branfoot installed as caretaker till end of season...Coyw

It’ll be a cricket score

0-5 unless Mitro's on fire in which case 1-5. Naturally I hope I am wrong.

More pain & an even bigger following of away fans in the home areas. On the plus side, more players will applaud us at the end of the game as we bond with our new heroes after the 8th successive defeat

Suprised you didn't get a reference to cottaging in the thread title!

What's COYW? Wankers?

I like Fulham. Was one of the first away grounds I went to when the away end was standing. Andy Morrison licked Collymore's face.

Liked that they "came up" with us when we were down in division 2

Stood in that away end on many occasion back in the day, like the ground, like the club.

My wife's second cousin is one Jimmy Conway who after leaving Fulham went on to play for us before moving to America

Never met the guy but the wife's aunties and uncle's all say he is real nice guy

It's crazy to think the team they had back when Pearce was our manager really really underachieved. They had some quality players.

Never been to Fulham, no idea why but it just doesn't appeal to me?

This is a game where we need an early goal and kick on. Nervy days ahead.

I've only been there once, in 1984. We lost 5-1, and the City fans were looking at some kids playing football behind the away stand, it was better than watching us. I'm hoping for a better performance tomorrow.

Fulham are placing 1400 red and black MCFC scarves on seats in the away end donated by MCFC in respect of Bernard Halford . Awesome gesture by both clubs , organised by city fans as a mark of respect 8-)

They not only watched it but then joined in. It was about 200 a side at one point!
Something in my head says the score was 5-2. (fulham v City, not the game behind the stand) But that could be wrong.

You read my mind NB, I was going to go down the cottaging route, but I had a rare moment of being sensible :)

I don't like it when you're sensible!

I'm strangely nervous about this game. But then again, at this stage pf the season, all games are nerve-wrecking in my opinion. I hope we score early and more than once. :-)

I'm always nervous when we're on Sky for some reason.

I also had a dream last night that Liverpool absolutely demolished Spurs :|

I have a feeling Saturday lunchtime kick offs are not our friend. Could be very wrong but it’s a KO time that we do get poor results sometimes, more so than say, Sunday afternoon or Saturday teatime
