With the other thread being locked, we can continue here.
I just want to say, even If I am not his biggest fan, There is no other manager in this world to have bigger balls than our manager. Look where we are, april and we won two pots and are capable of becoming imortals if we pull this of. All because of Baldie. He doesn’t know fear.
No matter how it will end, it was a real ride.

Very similar to 1st leg of Liverpool game.
However, i don't think we were going to beat spurs in all 3 games and if we were going to lose one, I'd have picked that one. Spurs learned nothing about us tonight, we learned alot about them*
*I know they will know us from the pl but playing each other in such a short space of time is different and form changes constantly in the pl

we were unlucky
no way we would go on a 25+ unbeaten streak
10 games to go and we can afford to lose one

Yes. I cannot believe that is the team Pep would have picked given a free choice. I would like to see what reports he got from the medical staff and players before assessing if it is the right one. Substitutions should have 10 minutes earlier though.

Right, bigger picture here.
Priorities:
Final of fa cup & Win every league game = champions x2
If you’re gonna take a chance on any games it has to be CL with so much that could go against us.

We are still very much in all four comps.

Yes absolutely. However there is no room for slip ups in the domestic comps. If you’re gonna tinker to rest then CL is the logical choice.

Sane was fit and has played little - no fuckign excuse not to play him from the start.
Mahrez played because Baldie spunked 60 odd million on the fucking cabbage and keeping him on the bench will say that he fucked up.
Silva played because hes living off yesteryear - Foden should have played - its against Spurs ffs !!! not fuckign Barcelona.

This is a good statement
My worry is the lack of umpf in our performances. If I’m being honest, I don’t think we have played great since we thrashed Chavski. Have we got into a bad mental state?
On tonight game, WTF was the 87th minute substitutions and what the f@@k has Leroy done to Pep as he hasn’t featured?..

Sane not playing means something is not right about him. Could be anything i.e. niggling injury, attitude, tactics, etc...Pep always says we look at them in training then pick the team.....
My guess would be his attitude is not correct.
So I don't think we can be critical of Pep without knowing the big picture.

I had the same thoughts.
I wonder if Pep knows/suspects he has his head turned (Real Madrid?)
No way will he be happy with this, and we are allegedly trying to get him to sign a new contract.

This. Let’s not forget he missed the world cup because of his attitude also.
Ffs, the fella has a huge tattoo of himself.

What evidence has there been to show that Sanè has a bad attitude on the pitch? I'll wait...

Sane does blow hot and cold in matches. Sometimes unplayable, sometimes anonymous. Maybe he is like that in training? There does appear to be a lack of intensity now and then which will infuriate Pep. Of course, he may not be the only one. We dont see what happens in training through the week.
But it does look like he has had a falling out with Pep and maybe his head has been turned. Maybe he doesnt like Manchester/England and wants out someplace else. Be a shame as on his day he is electric.

He's a winger mate. What winger doesn't blow hot and cold? Giggs went missing for about 5 whole years but is still classed as one of the best.
I genuinely think when Pep has an issue with a player he just won't let it go at all. And that's on Pep.
