How does the away goal rule ?

Give us some scenarios porfavor.

He’ll pick the strongest side he can for the next two against them and we will win both. The likes of mahrez, delph and gundo need to play but probably not all at once.
Tracking back is overrated.

Win 1-0, goes to extra time and penalties
Draw or lose and we are out
Win 2-0 we are through
Win 2-1 we are out on away goals
Win 3-1 or any other win by two goals and we go through

Or put another way - it is on a knife edge.
I make Spurs the favorites, if they score that's it for us as I cannot see us getting 3 goals.

If fit, KDB, Benardo guaranteed to play.

Not sure if Sane will though.

They score once then we need 3 which could be tough but we've scored alot of goals this season and Lloris tends to be good for an error every now and then.

I still can't get me head around the selection last night. Pearse wouldn't have done that!!

They will feel that they can do the same again. They will probably get a goal. That leaves us with a mammoth task on our hands.
Anyway say we do beat them, were going out in the semi final. We are not good enough to win this.

And I am fucking sick of this nonsense quadruple talk all the time just setting us up for the fall.

By the way the vermin are going for a double, where's all the pressure and shite talk about that?

I just want us to win the league.

I also think Spuds are favourites. Can see them scoring and shutting up shop. We can win, of course. I just dont think we have enough left in the locker to get through.

As long as we win the PL fixture i wont be losing sleep over the CL

1-1 or even 0-0 would have been great results. 1-0 is a horrible one. We need to score to win the game, but can't take any risks because a Spur goal means we have to score three.

I beg to differ, spuds away record is terrible. If we turn up and show no nerves, we'll turn them over. However, if we miss our chances early on, we could struggle. It's in the balance 50/50. We were due bad performances and a defeat after our great run, hopefully we are over our dip and can kick in again and put the performances where it matters.

Etihad will be rocking even with all the plastic photo taking star struck tourists than turn up on CL nights . City will rip spurs a new one no problem , 5 or 6-1 we are quite good after all .

We've also got to account for Uefa officials. They screwed us over last season and we got fook all after the penalty at Spurs (harshly given in my opinion but Uefa have set the standard in previous rounds). I expect more of the same next Wednesday.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Do we really not think we can win by two clear goals???

Aren't we scoring nearly three goals a game on average at home?

Didn't we put 6 past Chelsea?

Oh yea of little faith!

Of course we are capable but we cannot be so fuckign arrogant to take it for granted that we will stick 3 4 5 or 6 past them !! - this is the QF for fucks sake ...they score 1 and we need 3 they score 2 and its over.

We will need to be on top top form...something we have not been since the Chelsea game.

Being confident based on previous performances is not arrogance, it's confidence.

Having a sense of entitlement that leads to tantrums when things don't go our way is arrogance.
