Thank you for stepping in last season. But you no longer cut the mustard. We have lost 5 games this season when he has started. That is not coincidence. Time to move him on in the summer

I'm just wondering which other players played in all those games, Ederson perhaps?

Dave Silva. It's all his fault. Sharpen the guillotine.

There may be others who have played in those games as well. But considering the amount of games he has played in and started, he has a higher percentage than the others.

The top and bottom of it is, I for one aren’t confident when he plays. He is a player to have a error in him and he just can’t seem to eradicate this from his game

Part of this is lack of matches. But I’m still worried when I see his name down.

He has a talent not only for playing in matches we lose - as NB has already pointed out - but also being directly responsible for the defeats.

Was massively at fault for the spurs goal. Huge step down on last season where he excelled in a new position. With his injury record I’d assume last season was the anomaly and what we see is what we will get going forward.
Tracking back is overrated.

Did he play LB in those games? He's a poor LB, but not a poor midfielder. Not a great one, I hasten to add...

A shadow of the player he was last season, sadly.

Who should have been selected at left back against Spurs, Laporte?

Tough question, I was very surprised by his inclusion in the starting 11, but with neither Zinch or Mendy on the bench, our options were limited. As you say, Laporte was probably the only other viable option and he's also been hit and miss at left back (his last appearance was great, though).

Can't really argue about playing Delph on Tuesday as there was very limited options. Mahrez over Sanè is the big brain fart from Pep.

I was thinking maybe Danilo but the fact he wasn't even in the 18 and with the lack of fullback cover I'm presuming he wasn't fit for selection.

Unless you ask those who love to complain but never offer solutions.
I partly agree in regards to Mahrez/Sane. I think Mahrez had been fine if we had played de Bruyne instead of Silva or Gundo, but as things were, we were just lacking pace on their half of the pitch. Sané for Mahrez would definitely have helped.

Also the rags and there were other brain farts last season too but by and large his performances were good.

I'm struggling to think of a good performance from him this season.

Chelsea.
I think his "good form" idea was based on that game where he was used as a left back and we provided the world with one of the best performances in years. I think the rest must have been momentum.

I don't know if he will leave, remember we need english players in squad. Without him we have only 3 if I am not mistaken.
