Enables corruption and squeezes out enjoyment from football. I barely even recognize football anymore.

I've been told to sleep on it but I'm going to sell my ticket.
Regardless of whether it's for or against us, the game is ruined. That special moment, like the Aguero moment has gone now. You just can't celebrate.
I'll go non league or lower leagues.

You. Just. Can’t. Celebrate.
We need to wait until it happens to some vermin before this is addressed. I’ve had two moments now vs Spurs with my dad & my young son at the stadium ripped away from me and it absolutely is killing football. Within a couple of seasons we’ll have 60 seconds of silence when the ball hits the net

That’s how I feel mate. That’s twice now me and my son have had a special moment ruined due to this shit. I don’t want to celebrate anyone for fear of feeling shit when it’s ruled out for some stupid reason.

Exactly this. VAR is a huge mistake and a licence to cheat.

VAR suits the purpose . It looks like we are going to be playing against 14 each game. VAR should only be used if the onfield referee is uncertain, just like in Rugby.

I think this VAR system needs a bit of work. Start by using it for all teams equally.
Don't give up, lads. We have been through far worse adversity than this minor blip.

Are you saying that VAR is being used to manipulate the league?

I wouldn't even insinuate such a thing.

VAR has it has been used so far seems to favour the defending team: all goals are checked and some ruled out, but I don’t see it used much to award penalties or free kicks. Also there is nothing to address the case where an attacking player is incorrectly ruled offside, which must happen at least as frequently as the other way round. Since we are an attacking team

We're being taken as cunts, the aftermath is proving that. To be fair, RatBoy is showing the reality against Redknapp and the Dipper Mcqueen.

Graham Scott, assisted by Andy Halliday according to this.

and how did they miss the penalty claim ? Surely they had to stop the game for a review of the footage?

Good questions, zuricity. I can't find any answer them, I'm afraid, other than that they chose to. Perhaps it is only used for handballs, offsides and encroachment.

After only 2 games it's noticeable that VAR is (t)asked to rule on all our goals whereas it isn't for all our rivals.
Be ready, Blues, it is now a different game.

The problem with the goal was the daft new handball rule. If a goal is scored direct off a hand its fair to ignore whether its accidental or not. Here the ball brushed Laporte who was impeded. Didnt even affect the balls trajectory. VAR simply ruled on the basks of the new law. How the wrestling over of Rodri wasnt a penalty god alone knows. We were very unlucky not to get the win. It was a very good team performance against one of the best teams in the League. We restricted then to you guessed it two chances. Ugh!

Correct. The problem here is not VAR. It's the stupid law.
