If the fans were given a choice of having it or not what would be the % outcome?

Id say 60% against having it and Id be one of the 60%.

Until we get to the same situation as the use in rugby league it should be scrapped. It is solely being used to manipulate desired outcomes and the fact that we are not being allowed to be party to the conversations between the ref and those in the VAR room tells you all you need to know. If you've nothing to hide, mike the fuckers up - no, thought not

Exactly......there is no justification whatsoever that we do not get to hear the refs decisions like we do in Rugby.

In fact , by not doing so , they get rightly accused of cheating.

It would go such a long way to helping fans understand why the officials make the decisions they do if their microphones were switched on for the public.

Even if you disagree with the decision, at least you’d have a better understanding of why it was made.

Other sports have embraced this. Football is long behind in this regard.

We are long behind for a reason and it is not for the lack of technology. The fact that only the picture that proves the decisiin is shown speaks volumes. The powers that be don't want the dark arts behind the scenes becoming public and as long as we are not privvy to the conversations, that can only be because it is rigged? Blatantly corrupt - results however thry choosr

Var has the same fuckers doing the same shit.

i know its not city, yesterday Leeds v west ham game, the west ham goalie saved a pen and all players ran away to continue the game, but then var said the goalie was off his line by an mm, and the kick was retaken, and scored this time, and football focus just showed it and not 1 of them could see his foot off the line

Love to see how VAR changed this year.

1. Penandes scores one from offside that we barely see a replay
2. Tarkowski runs over Maupay and scores.

Waiting for Anty Taylor today.

There have been adjustments to how much VAR gets involved. The Premier league is supposed to be adjustments to be more in line with the rest of the world so it shouldn't interfere as much like it was in the euros.

Although I'm pretty sure when Jesus is in a similar position today he won't get the benefit of the doubt and it will be called offside.

He won’t, and we won’t be shown the replay either.
