They’re not paying it and he’s staying for now.

Interesting we’ve heard nothing on the alleged transfer ban after we heard something would come out soon. Since then radio silence. Might wait until after the window shuts in England if it is impending.

Funny that news was right before the final must win games wasn’t it? Almost like they wanted to distract us...

Brennan, Ducker, Blackburn and Gaughan all coming out with the same story within half an hour means they were clearly briefed by City.

Doesn't mean the valuation is accurate or that it would be the final price should a deal go through, but it's quite obvious that the club wants it out there to stifle the lowballing by Bayern through the German media.

Don't think they will stump up 135-140m. The annoying thing about this is that it will drag on now, a distraction we don't need at the start of the season. Why all the windows cant all close at the same time is beyond baffling.

I knew the little cunt wanted out.

The last thing we need is a fuckign player who wants out and ends up staying.

No one is above the club. No one.

I wanted to him to stay, but in the end, City comes first. No one else. If he wants to leave, he knows where to find the door.

What worries me is that we are doing the same mistakes all over again. We need a centerback and now a winger (if he leaves). With one week to go.

The German rags were trying to talk the transfer into existence via the media and got told to shut the fuck up or face the consequences - now they are treading very carefully (all in my opinion, obviously). They want him, but I'm not sure he wants them, AND they wont pay what it would cost for them to get him anyway. We're NOT an easy touch and we don't need to sell him.

One of the only two players in our squad who could get to balon d'or level.

Would be gutted if he left, but I can see why from his point of view. He simply never got the run of games he should have last season, even when others were going through poor patches of form.

He has 2 years left. Not sure why we wouldn't keep him for at least another season and show him that he will get the game time. Chelsea got close to £100 for hazard with only 1 year left and only 1 team bidding

Leroy Sane has given Manchester City no indication he wants to leave but talks over a new contract are now a "bit different", says manager Pep Guardiola.

The 23-year-old Germany winger, who has two years left on his contract, has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich throughout the summer.

"I know the rumours exist," Guardiola said, "I want players who want to stay.

"The player didn't tell me anything, that's the reality. He is our player and we want him to stay.

We tried to extend the contract for more than a year, we were quite close a month ago but now it's a bit different. I cannot say anymore," Guardiola added

I cannot say anymore means his mum is an absolute slag. Just reading between the lines.

Agree but we should not just give him to munich cheap just to avoid a sulky player. If we ain't getting the shillings we want, he is staying put.

He's not told Pep he wants out. He's not missed a flight, not turned up for training, called in sick, or seen playing golf.

He's just not said he's staying/not leaving. That isn't helpful to him for negotiations either since he might sign a new contract.

Let's see how it plays out.

Taken from Blue Jams link.

"Sky Sports News understands that Manchester City have no intention of selling Sane to the Bundesliga club."

So that settles it.
