No doubt he is gone in the summer which is a great pity because he is world class. Best left sided player we have.

Said it long time ago he's going and wouldn't be surprised we'll replace him with Sancho. I hope I'm wrong though.

Doubt we would take Sancho back. We let him go due to his attitude and the way he reacted to not making the first team tour. Pep likes a settled dressing room with no-one making waves and Sancho does not do that. Talented he is no doubt but he's not got the attitude that Pep courts

I will continue to say it, losing him is a huge mistake as he can easily be our 2nd best player behind KDB.
Sadly itll basically be out of our hands.

'Sources' told them. In other words, they made it up.

As long as the source isn't Sam Lee. Then we'll know it's 100% bollocks!

Worth putting him on the bench instead of Sterling? As much as anything, Sterling then knows he has competition back for his place. And though he wont be coming on it gives Sane a boost and he knows he is still a big part of our family

Normally this would be great news if he had committed and signed an extension. But this whole transfer saga and the belief he is off in the summer sort of sours his return a bit.

Not sure in this day and age. Clubs like the player to sulk and drive down value. He could be sterling form and munich will still go for him

Manchester Evening News
Bayern Munich 'make decision on Man City's Leroy Sane' and more transfer rumours

Bayern Munich are now seeking out alternatives to Man City star Leroy Sane, according to reports.

The German champions chased Sane throughout the summer with City eventually becoming irked by the very public pursuit, which saw several big players and high ranking officials comment on the situation.

It got to the point that then-manager Nico Kovac was forced to apologise after saying he was 'confident' a deal would be done and Bayern publicly denying German reports that a transfer was close to completion on their Twitter account.

Sane would then suffer a serious knee injury prior to the Premier League season against Liverpool in the Community Shield, prompting Bayern to recruit Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Perisic instead.

Yet the Bavarians didn't lose their interest and CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge refused to rule out that the club would make a move to sign the 24-year-old.

However reports in Bild, who have been leading the Sane to Bayern speculation, via SportWitness, suggest that they may have given up the chase.

It's reported that Bayern have been left 'frustrated' by Sane's swap of agents, which would lead to negotiations starting over, and 'will look at other options.'

They claim that Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Kai Havertz and RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner could be targets, and that they may look at keeping Coutinho and Perisic longer than their initial loans.

Sane's contract at City expires at the end of next season.
