Foden

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Foden

Postby carl_feedthegoat » Sat Apr 20, 2019 1:53 pm

I was proved right - this was his first game since Cardiff and to come into a game as important as this one and play like he did and score the winner ...immense.

I would like him to start every game till the end of the season - he deserves to.

I wont mention the Silva lickers who disagreed......the penny should have dropped by now.

Apart from his goal I didn't know he was playing today!!

No complaints as a goal is a goal. Especially a winning goal.

A masterclass from the lad today. Utterly fearless, brilliant goal, worked his nuts off, kept those cunts guessing and a superb temperament. A City legend in the making, absolutely no question

No one is saying he's the finished article by all means, he cant reach those levels if he doesn't get game time. It's a gamble worth taking seeing Silva is not delivering.

He had a good game today, but is not quite there yet . After wednesday, it was very risky of Pep. We got the result .Phil disappeared in the second half, but the experience wont do him any harm.

I loved the sub. Phil to run his arse off and Dave to come on and see it out. Do that every game please.

He gor interviewed post game and they asked him about his game time. He said "How many 18 year olds get game time in this company. "

Decent game, good goal, some rash moments first half, tired at the end, learnt a lot.

looked nervous at times but in addition to his goal he crossed well and played a couple of nice through balls. cobsidering how little game time hes had i think pep will be pleased. deserves to keep his spot against the rags.

Top lad.

Exactly. Like the look of the lad on the pitch and off it as well. Not afraid to big up City at the expense of the interviewer looking an idiot

Has the early potential to be a superstar for us. Needs to start a lot more league games next season maybe 30%. Mahrez and gundo to be squad and early rounds of the cups players, fern and merlin to be rested more frequently. Bernardo the Maine man, kev have less injuries, sane to get game time, hope Danilo stays and drop walker for the big games, rotate the rest! Sorted.
