My fucking nerves are shot, and I don't think I'll survive a repeat of the spuds and Burnley games.

At the age of 74 I definitely need an easy win tomorrow.

I sometimes long for the wonderfully unpredictable games of the 70s 80s 90s and naughties. I never expected to win so it never hurt when we didn't win.

Now the buggers have conditioned me to expect victory every time!
Just when I'm drifting into my dotage...
Just when my heart is weakening....
Just when I need to be calm...

The rotten thoughtless glorious bastards!

Rock on Tommy !

nice three points tomorrow , i don't care how!

I am sixty seven, I have obviously been through the full set of emotions with City, however times are different now, we have the best team ever, but, my inner city will not allow for any complacency.
I will not be happy until we beat Leicester, beat them and we will be champions, so come on City do it for us older guys.

I'm stuck on a flight for tomorrow's game. I'm obviously kicking myself for the bad timing, but at the same time, I'm not sure I could handle watching this match live on the telly.

Do what I do when travelling, stay away from the result and read through the match thread when you arrive at destination. It's an absolute joy to behold going from 'You useless cunt, get him off' to 'Get the fuck in you fucking dancer' in the next post.

Good travels, my friend.

Yet he still missed from 8 yards in a must win match.

You mean the great goal line clearance from Mee that on any other day wouldve been a goal?

Number 1 - he should have passed to Raz

Number 2. - doesn't matter whose on the fuckign line - its 8 yards...time to pick your spot....must win must win must win match.

Number 3 - both of the above.

Carl, all you need to know is in the replies. I made a comment how Jesus should replace Sane and not one person replied by telling me how good Leroy is and we’d be fools to drop him.

My wife booked me on a flight back from Malta at the same time as this seasons home derby.
I was not impressed.
Though I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this one, I'm sure the last two, the spuds one in particular have shortened my life span considerably.

Anybody thinking it may be a restless night, getting up for this already.

Gonna start with a full English (at lunch) and follow my old Derby routine.

I was telling my wife how worried I was about the Leicester game, she told me to “catch yourself on” which is Northern Ireland speak for fucking grow up. So putting this into perspective I am pretending not to give a fuck, but really shitting it :)

Ian Wright trying to crank the tension up. Saying that we'd be gutted after Newcastle put a shift in and the Dippers get that free kick (for nothing) and score. He said that Leicester are the worst team we could play at the moment because they are in good form.

I had a look at their "good form" under Rodgers.
LWWWWLDW. The four wins on the spin look impressive but two of them came against Fulham and Huddersfield so if you take the last 3 (home defeat to Newcastle, draw at West Ham and home win v Arsenal) their "good form" is basically a win against 10 man Arsenal where they scored two late goals.

We've dropped 3 points at home all season and have 12 W's on the spin. That's what "good form" looks like. Play our game and we win.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Good travels, my friend.

It happend to me last game vs Burnley and it was on the brick of death.
It was Easter Day here and I took a train to visit the parents of my missus. So here I was, a three hour trip, with areas with zero reception because of the landscape, watching the forum and flashscore.com.

It the same car with me was this gypsy woman who was going to the same city as me, shouting at the phone she just arrived from Spain and took this train and hopes here daughter of 16 will understand that she can find another man in her life, then there was this other woman with her laud child, both came from France. Near her another woman who was eating non stop junk food and had 50 kg and while eating Mcdonalds she was talking on the phone and saying that she would love to eat Mcdonalds again tonight.

Add to this pit of hell the fact that City was playing bad, I was almost at the end.
Then facebook gives me a notification from my rag friend, before flashscore with the message: AGUUUUUUERRROOOOOOOOO

I was punching the air like a dyslexic seal.

My point is that travels should be banned when City is playing. You would go to the plane or train check in and they would stop you: Don't you know City is playing?

Rant over.
