He isn’t bald so clearly cannot be a defensive midfielder which is what we need - now if we could only clone Lee Carsley, bet Dr Cugat could

22 goals this season.
Still in Portugal, but that is impressive.

I haven't seen him play but from what I can gather it seems he's an 8.

He's similar to Bernardo, apparently all big clubs are after him, at the price quoted it's a steal. There is talk of him replacing David Silva whose apparently off to Japan for a season or two before he retires. (P.s in case you didn't know, David's mum is Japanese)

The other rumour, there is talks of him replacing Gundo who's considering moving on.

I did not know that about David's mam - makes sense if so. I think Gundo has been pretty decent during this run and potentially played himself into contention for a contract extension but I also suspect that he will move on this summer & so we should be looking for a replacement

I dont know anything about him except from what I've read online after we started being linked to him.
Apparently he's scoring goals all over the place this season which is not common for a central midfielder. Although, he did play up top as part of a 4-4-2 this past weekend for Sporting.

He's definitely not a Fernandinho replacement. Feels more like a Yaya replacement.

From the youtubes, he looks like an incredible combo of Mahrez and Bernardo:

Purely speculation, I wonder if he's going to be replacing Sane

It does look like it's very possible that gundo will go, he is forever complementing klopp :x
With Silva slowing then this makes sense.

Can't see us selling Gundo to the dippers. I could easily see him going to Germany or Turkey though

We could try them out with Mahrez - give us back what we paid plus the additional £5 million that we will owe to Leicester if we win the league this season

I agree about Merlin slowing, but Gundo too. I was going ape when McQuire just ran past him on the left wing. Left him for dead.

Both Gundo & Merlin are almost in reverse they're that slow. Lucky they're decent when they have the ball

You do realize he's already been offered an extension months ago and hasn't signed, because he wants to leave in the summer?

He's openly said that because it's his last "big" contract he needs to think about it. He's had a good three-four months but I'd get rid if he doesn't want to sign.

Honestly, completely forgot that he had been offered a deal. We can do a lot better in his position so fcuk him, he can go I've moved on from him!

I am impressed by Gundo. It looks like he wants to move on but he has played very well in 2019, showing a really good team ethic.
Compare that to say Pogba & Co.

I thought he played well last night but seeing MOTD he fucked up horribly for the chance Ian Nacho kindly missed and he got brushed aside a couple if times. He was a decent on the ball though.
I can't understand why he would want to leave really. Pep goes to him more often than not and he is playing in a side that may well make history and look like getting better. It's not like we dont reward players well.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.
