We shouldn’t overlook Eric Garcia and there may well be another attempt to get Douglas Luiz a work permit.

The strategy is this simple.

prepare for and win the next game. If we keep winning the next game, things fall into place.

So City play Scouse2 in the Charity shield, weekend of 3rd / 4th August .

Great to nail them before the start of the season.

They've stopped the subs one.

Substitutions

Another rule which has been introduced for next season sees some major alterations to substitutions.

Now players will have to leave the pitch at the nearest point rather than walk slowly across the field late in games and waste time.
