I only stopped drinking on Tuesday from Brighton went to the gym last night & going again tonight. Will be back on it on the coach down on Saturday from early doors

Back from Crete late Friday evening, and then straight to bed as up at 6am to drive down to Beaconsfield, throw my stuff in the hotel and then get the train to Wembers.

Last time I went to Wembley was against Wigan and I said I wouldn't go back for a very very long time. Suppose it's time now.

Got given a couple of tickets for this last minute, plane tomorrow after work, London in the morning, Wembley in the afternoon, celebrating (I hope) in the evening and back on the plane at silly o'clock Sunday, come on city!

I am in Barcelona with the mrs who is a massive Wigan Warriors rugby league fan . I will be in in the Nou Camp on Saturday afternoon watching Wigan Warriors v Catalans I shit you not ! Hope the FA Cup is being screened somewhere in the Nou Camp or might get the second half in a bar . Oh well not a bad place to celebrate if we win the treble I suppose ?

Anyone going to the final and staying over?
I normally travel from County Durham to City and back the same day for each home game, even for night kick-offs. For all but 1 previous Wembley visits I've driven to Watford Junction and trained in from there, then driven home afterwards. Fucking long days, those ones! And no chance for a drink, either....
The only exception was the Wigan final, where I drove to Manchester and stayed near the Etihad, using the club coaches to get to Wembley - and we all know how that turned out
Trying a new plan this year - driving to a hotel on Cricklewood Broadway so I can get a few beers inside me (in celebration of a historic domestic treble) before heading north the next day.
Can't wait - roll on Saturday!
