I am pleased to hear reports our owners cousin is looking to take over Newcastle. Hopefully we will have another friendly club?

WRONG MOVE!
What he should really do is buy the swamp from the Glasers.
Then asset strip it , Gordon Gekko style.
Flog off all the best players , (both of them) , sell the stadium, sell the training ground , have them ground share with Bury or Stockport.

Vague on timing of expansion of the Etihad but clear support for the principle. Very strong support for a safe standing area if that becomes possible.

Don't think the expansion is a big priority, TBH, if we don't sell out every game, then it's another stick to beat us with. Core support can always be relied upon, but we still don't have enough tourists to fill the ground in the less glamorous games.
Another season or two of success and that'll change.

El mundo deportivo has coverage of this where Khaldoon says you shouldn't take Tebas seriously. Everyone knows who he is, a politician who says things for his own ends

E M D says Tebas seems to have enemies all over the place

He's a great example of what it means to be a leader in business and kind/gracious /well spoken at the same time. The job that he has done implementing processes that produce growth at City are up there with the best examples you can find. Hats off to him

Seriously as a business owner, he's a great example to look up to

Can't be correct ,
the BBC have not reported it yet. Clearly not "Breaking News".

Hopefully that's a "carry on and we'll take this all the way". Glad to see the club not backing down, they shouldn't have accepted it before.

I wonder if nothings been done till now whilst we build a strong enough case that's completely watertight. We are going to win this and it will stop all the bullshit lies that have been spun against us.

Gloves are off.

Could be a pivotal moment for the club. If we win this, we know we have friends in high places and /or proof of where the bodies are. If we are sanctioned, it's back to where we started with FFP and UEFA and us not being accepted. If it's the latter, it really is bent and we should fuck it off off

Will be very interesting how this unfolds in the next week or so . As usual our haters in the media have a different spin on things but it seems certain City are going all the way with this . Illegal activities prompted by people within UEFA (hacked leaked emails and leaked information to the media) have been used against us and someone is desperate to try and bring us down . Also I think it is unprecedented that a club has took legal action to stop a UEFA investigation process ???

Definitely a conspiracy kicking around somewhere so it would be nice to see UEFA raided

Quite a sensible comment below that article:

Most of this article comes from the Associated Press release.

It should be noted that UEFA promised to respond to City's 100 page rebuttal document. They didn't, as per UEFA FFP process, they simply kicked it upstairs for adjudication.

I also note that from the moment this case has been resurrected, there have been UEFA leaks to the press by the dozen - also breaking UEFA FFP investigation confnidentiality clauses. The latest being "A separate person with knowledge of the case said City provided conflicting answers to some questions to investigators".

It's a Kangeroo court for the old G14 clubs who don't want anyone to join them in the Golden Trough of UEFA competition cash. Sadly for them, their process has been so sloppy, CAS will throw this out in fairly short order.
