International Break

So Portugal - Swiss.

Swiss player goes down in the area, looked like a slow push, but I am not convinced, Portugal goes on the break, Bernie is taken down and the ref gives them a penalty. Then he goes to VAR, watches the replay and goes back and gives the swiss the penalty.

Bonkers.

What's this break for?

I see Fern was injured for our last few games but is beating himself with Brazil. The fuck is going on?!

Looked straightforward to me. The Swiss guy was clipped so its a penalty. Just took too long to get there which allowed the other stuff to happen.

If that would had happen to us I would had been really angry. I don't think the penner was that obvious, to be honest.
Also, why the fuck are they showing in VAR just one angle? Well, I know the answer but still find it fucked.

got taken off after 70 mins
didn’t stand out when he was on but had a couple of nice touches. bernado was far superior.

For the kind of money being bandied about, he didn’t do himself any favours. Clearly a talent, but nowhere near the finished article and though it’s not his fault the huge buy out clause, there won’t be many takers at that price I should imagine

How many are expected to be at the England game? I've seen that the tournament is being played in minor stadiums, and there were apparently 8,000 empty seats last night. I guess it's not going to turn out to be the spectacle UEFA were hoping for when they launched it.

I see Fern was injured for our last few games but is beating himself with Brazil. The fuck is going on?!

Jesus had a nice goal for Brazil vs Qatar. Should be good for his confidence going into next year to get a goal for the national team after last summer
