Jesus started on the bench today for Brazil while Fernandinho started and Ederson was out injured.

Brazil are the favorites even without Neymar and they're predictably up 2-0 on Bolivia. Even though Argentina tend to choke at big tournaments I do think this will come down to them or Brazil.

We need a replacement for Fern asap. The fact he's not retired from international football after his family were racially abused is a bit of a weird one for me. He was injured at the end of last season and now he's beasting himself over the summer..

Neah, I've heard spiders there are bigger than Aaron Lennon.

Not the worst. That said, he probably wouldn’t have played anyway. Fern is the one to be wrapped in cotton wool

Argies lose 2-0 to Colombia. Aguero and Otamendi could be home sooner than expected

Not following this couldnt care less but I hate our players playing meaningless international games, especially in late JUNE and especially when I hear the word 'injured'.

I mostly agree but i wouldnt call this meaningless. Is the euro cup meaningless? no. this isnt the stupid Nations League crap.
Even though I'm not a fan of international football in general the WC and each continental cup are the only ones that "matter".

They're now in last place below Qatar

Something has definitely been wrong in their camp for awhile now. Probably the fact that they have worthless coaches leading a group of incredible players. Plus a surrounding atmosphere that would make England look positive

I think we all know what the problem is there. Or better said, who.

A little guy called Lionel.

Qatar is underrated. They were brilliant at the Asian Cup.

Argentina is a shambles of a federation.

Also, the Copa America is far from meaningless. Fair enough if you're the type who doesn't care about any international football, but if you're buzzing for the Euros, you should respect that this is the same deal for South American players and fans.

Agree. Too much power. The team focuses on nhim and relies upon him too much and the coaching staff does the same.
the fact that Dybala isnt playing is a joke.

Add Icardi to that also. Mental
