Chant for Domestic Treble/New lyrics to Allez Allez

Thoughts on a change in the lyrics for the Allez Allez song, given Liverpool won the Champions League? Also, more importantly, as we won the domestic treble, perhaps use the tune to make it more of a celebratory chant for us instead?

Thoughts?

All the way to Wembley,
To end up in success,
Guardiola's Army,
We simply were the best,
Vinny scored a screamer,
To end the Scouser's dreams,
City won the treble,
And United won fuck all

Allez Allez Allez
Allez Allez Allez
Allez Allez Allez

Understandable to a degree but we still need a chant/song to recognise the success of the Domestic Treble. Also I would hope we don't continuing chanting about Kiev now that it is 2 seasons ago and Liverpool have won that Cup since.

No way. I know singing to the tune of hey jude is a pisstake, at least I hope it is, but this is too much.

It will just sound unoriginal, and like we can't come up with our own stuff, and Liverpool will sing a song to that effect.

Hey Jude City version has been around since I was a kid nearly 30 years ago. Don't think it's a piss take to Liverpool, but it makes it sweeter now that they're our main rivals in the Prem.

Bit 1970,s that for 2019 , just sayin !
And bored to tears with the Allez Allez thing ,
Something more original would do nicely !

Agreed.

These days no matter what game you are watching you hear the same tunes being sung. Zero originality.

Exactly. That song was taken from L’Aquila, who made up lyrics to commemorate their fans killed in the 2009 earthquake. It's far more befitting of Liverpool supporters to steal from the victims of a tragedy than us, in my opinion.
