I think we will have to rely on Zinch for the left side of defense again as fuckign Mendy wont be ready anytime soon IMO.

Recovery from an arthroscopy procedure (Mendy had his in May )

You will probably need about 6 weeks to recover. If your doctor repaired damaged tissue, recovery will take longer. For many people, this will be around six weeks after surgery, but in some cases it may not be for several months.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Excellent first pre season game.
Pep needs to work his magic on Angelino although it would have been nice if he had been given some support from either Silva or Poveda.

A few going overboard on twitter about Bernabe and Doyle. More than adequate and that pass was sublime but both have so much to learn so lets not go OTT.

Like Taylor Harwood Bellis. Looks to have a brain as well as being a decent center back and If we can hold onto the Otter at least another year we have good quality coming through with him and Garcia.

Nah, I don't think just yet. I think here is still a good option.

Sure, he can leave on "a free" but it's better for him marketing-wise to play for City. The PL is far more reaching for his "brand" than the Bundesliga at this point, even with mighty Bayern.

He could also go to other clubs besides Bayern, i.e. Barca or Real Madrid who I could see very much wanting him.

On a free to RM would be great for them as they'd not mind big wages, and then they can use more to buy Mbappe, which I am sure will happen next summer.

Barca a contender as well if they feel Dembele doesn't improve.

Don't see him going to another PL club, although Chelsea would be interested if Hudson-Odoi doesn't return well from his injury or leaves.

Those are the 3 I am most worried about, but more RM and Barca than Chelsea.

If he gets games and performs well I think he re-signs. He's gonna have to fight because if Mahrez performs well like he has of late, it will be a real fight. If he doesn't do well enough then I think we will sell in January, which would I believe leave Chelsea out of contention anyway.

He gave away a pen diving to ground against Anderson and should have given away another he got away with not too long after that.

He did make a stellar pass for a chance in the 2nd half, so that was good.

Needs to get acclimated more to me, and be more careful defending or he will be Delph part 2 and arguably worse.

he does seem suspect in defense, hopefully it is just him finding his feet back at the club

Sterling and Kev look ready to go though. Raheem just keeps getting better every year

I watched the highlights on the OS and wow those were 3 great assists for the goals scored from open play.
I marveled at who we brought on in the 2nd half: Bernardo, KDB, Sterling, and Sane. What a team we have. That doesn't even include Silva, Aguero, Jesus, and even Gundogan.

If everyone stays relatively fit I had a hard time seeing how we dont win a 3rd league trophy in a row. Liverpool should be the only competition.

Either my telly's wrong or Gundo came on mate (though to little effect in truth, so it's an easy mistake)

There's one or two others missing though

Pep has said after the match that the players will sit down and pick the captain for next season.

Do you think there'll be anyone spitting their dummy out when not picked?

Acclimated or not - I remember him as a player who looked decent going forward but lacked a bit defending. TS Dutch football man said he didn't think he was quite Premier 'yet'.

But I think it's about options in this ridiculous market. Neither Delph nor Zinch is a left back, Mendy is always injured. So they likely figured that the buy-back option was best value for money to get cover rather than be held to ransom for someone who is probably no better than Angelino but cost 60 million quid.

For that reason I support the signing. After all it's not really a hard team to play in is it?

I think they will choose Aguero.

Which is a poor choice if you ask me.
