Should say, Pellegrini loves open football which suits us, but the players still deserve credit looking like they have a point to prove.

Rodri is sliding right in and been class the entire game. Suspect he's going to become another brilliant signing and going to be hilarious that we missed on Fred and Jorginho as he is looking more likely to be a real star, and offer us some things (size, height, leadership qualities) that add to his value and make him stand out from the rest.

Entire game was very watchable and entertaining. One of the best pre-season games I can really recall seeing from start to finish.

You would think Leroy would be good on the right as an inside forward as he is so good striking with his left foot.

If he has improved his right foot (looks like he may have) that will help him get more time there, I think and allow for more game time in general.

Wonder if he decided to work on it for whatever reason due to this.

I know he was technically playing as a striker when he made that nice move near the end (scored last pre season and scored against Liverpool as a striker), but it was from the right side.

enjoyed that, 1st half some decent play from our young players and then the big guns came on and west ham was cooked
