Due to on going knee injury



It hints at him coming to work for us again good luck lad

For one (all too brief) moment he was England's best rightback - and a prototype for what fullbacks would evolve into. Plagued with injury problems (and a little bit too much immaturity early in his career - which he eventually put behind him) I still love the guy and hope he comes back here in some form (he's confirmed to appear at Vinnie's testamonial at the very least).

Absolute monster and brilliant for 2 or 3 seasons before a nasty injury . Don’t think I have ever seen a fatter unfit player when he returned from said injury which was a real shame . World could have been his oyster at one stage ......... proper blue the lad !

A great lad with a huge heart. A lad who was as close to a charging bull as humanly possible. Used to call him the Bull Richards, busting through defences at ease
