It's not a trophy because its a glorified friendly with 6 subs.

If the captain lifts a big silver thing at Wembley with the City fans cheering, then it's a pot in my book

Scouse should get a cup too, for coming second.

They didn’t lose according to the commentators - we should share it with them .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

What is it you do not understand about Footy in England ?

Negative as fcuk !

All City fans know this is not important .

It's only relevance is to make some money for Charities.

It only becomes relevant when cnuts like at the BBC place stupid articles on their web site about Scouse going for Seven Trophies. So the IT agencies can cream advertising revenues out of the Beeb.

The real joy here today, is that Scouse didn't win . In spite of their rough tactics and Atkinson .

Glad of this win, but not in love with the game. I think the pitch was also really poor today.
Rodri is really, really slow and provided almost none. Of course, first game, but worried.

Overall, I will be honest, for me this season might be a bad one and I am ready for that.

It is really, really hard to motivate the squad after what they did last year.

But thank fuck football is back!

Rodrigo will be immense, the team will compensate his inadequacies and complement his strengths. No complaints from me, he'll be up to speed soon and, if not, we still have Fernandinho.

Every club lists it as a major honour. The most minor of all, but a major honour, throughout history. Embrace it you lovely bastards.

Rodri was fine today. I notice MEN gave him a 7. KdB Raheem and Gundo not so much. Merlin and Bernardo were fine too. We do need Mendy back whatever anyone says. Aleks looks dodgy against top class forwards.

Disagree about Rodri, he was pretty much around when needed.

However like you , i couldn't believe how the grass looked way too long, slowing the passes down.

I think he almost gave a goal away towards the end, But Bravo was immense today.

He looks like a crane, but agree, there is a long way to go.

Just got home and seen Sterling celebrating like a mad man when he scored - I fuckin love that!!

And Walker's clearance - class.

Like City64 has said - I fuckin hate those twats so any win to make sure they have to sit there miserable as fuck blaming anyone and everyone will do me.

I was being sarcastic. I was one of the few saying this wasn't a friendly leading up to the match.
