It's not a trophy because its a glorified friendly with 6 subs.

If the captain lifts a big silver thing at Wembley with the City fans cheering, then it's a pot in my book

I was being sarcastic. I was one of the few saying this wasn't a friendly leading up to the match.

I’ll back you in this - you did indeed .

Classy of them to stay ant watch their team get their medals.
Bit feisty at times walking back down Wembley Way - while everyone had to wait, everyone who barged in front of us was wearing red.
There were a couple sat next to us in block 532, when they scored, he had the balls to should, "take that you effing to c***s".

Keep replaying the BBC coverage of Walkers clearance, full volume.
On my train there are a few eating Walker's Crisps - such a sight to behold.
One of them nicked my seat though. Dipper.

On 1st March 2020, 652 days will have passed with no team other than Manchester City winning a domestic trophy. (Other than the lower leagues of course).

Nice assist by Atkinson for their goal.

One thing that's always overlooked.

Am I right I saying the incident leading to the dippers goal was just a one on one above and should never have been given a free kick?

Just watched the highlights - did Pep pull Sterling after he missed that absolute sitter one on one? I can imagine him doing that with Sanè

Rodri is really, really slow and provided almost none. Of course, first game, but worried.

Overall, I will be honest, for me this season might be a bad one and I am ready for that.

It is really, really hard to motivate the squad after what they did last year.

But thank fuck football is back!

Rodrigo will be immense, the team will compensate his inadequacies and complement his strengths. No complaints from me, he'll be up to speed soon and, if not, we still have Fernandinho.

Looks very much like a Garreth Barry type player in my opinion. And I loved Barry.

I think that was on the way to the game.

It certainly felt tense at times, more so on the way back down Wembley Way after the game.

Lots of scousers pushing past queues of people when everyone was instructed to wait.

The behaviour of two scousers in the City end was reckless during the game, suffice to say they did not wait to see his team collect their medals.
