You sure about that? Because as things stand I fully expect them to score plenty of offside goals this season

When margins are that tight they need to focus on which moment the freeze frame shows. The ball is in contact with Silva’s foot long enough for Sterling to travel a few inches. They still have wiggle room to dictate decisons

how anyone can judge that as offside from the camera angle they chose is ridiculous.Margin of error ?

A joke

That's what he's saying mate. We thought that VAR would stop them but it won't unfortunately

VAR simply cannot be millimetre accurate, there has to be a margin for error, say 2-3cm.

We are talking the thickness of a shirt here and a ball in contact with the foot of someone passing it for a measurable amount of time. There's looking at cameras capturing 100 frames every second but the players move considerably more than 1mm in that time.

In other words, you simply cannot measure to the degree of accuracy being implemented here and honestly, it's ruining the game.

And what about if our shirts are fitted differently to take into account Raheem’s T-Rex arms?

This stinks of anti-saures sentiment.

I was just about to post that. Signing another RB may give him the push he needs. But he does always start the season well. The problem imo is he gets overused and towards the end of the season he's fucked.

Commentator on US TV just said that the linesmen have been told if it's not cut and dry keep your flag down. He then said that's not been the case in other matches..

Mahrez inside there. Be under no illusions, offside will be given as to how the officials want, not necessarily how correct they are

in the last 5 mins, we have won the ball, and then the players [ stones and zin] stand still instead of moving ball and we get caught

I could've sworn he said the exact opposite. Most other leagues and competitions leave the flag down and let VAR handle it. The Premier league is the opposite: put the flag up.

Yes, because he's offside.

Edit: The image they showed was after Mahrez played it.

Get in Raheem!
