What will be the wonders of technology this time? Have the PL instructed PiGMOL on how to officiate this game yet?

Rodri sent off for tactical foul?

Aguero decapitated for a goal on the edge of offside?

Amputation of Sterling's shoulder for daring to spoil the VAR line?

I just don't fucking know anymore.

One thing, if we play as we did in our first two games Bournemouth are fucked, regardless of technology.

Agreed that we have come out of the blocks very quickly. Someone is going to get smashed soon. I'm hoping that this VAR shit galvanises the team to even greater heights if that is even possible? The only concern is that we all know damm well that each goal that we score will be reviewed in the minutist detail, going back as far as is possible in the move in an attempt to get it chalked off. I can see us scoring from a clearance from Big Ed, only to see it being called back because there was an opposing team attacker offside in our half - no advantage, offside - bring the play back......

The way things are going we better make sure if were scoring a goal that nobody's fore-skin is 1 / 1000th of a mm offside.

Not that he has any chance of playing but Mendy’s back in full training.

Its not a VAR issue. Its a rules issue. VAR is enforcing the rules but the rules suck

Since the Cherries came back to the PL we've had 8 games and won them all, scoring 25 and conceding 3. However, we have struggled to break them down at the Vitality under Pep with the last 3 games being 2-0, 2-1 and 1-0 last season, with the 2-1 being a last minute screamer for Raheem, getting sent off for his troubles.

Does Pep pay them too much respect or has Howe found a system that keeps the goal count down?

I'd replay us getting fucked over last week to the players right before the match.
