News just out this morning that Lionel Messi WILL be allowed to leave Barcelona on a FREE next summer .

It’s only a free if it’s outside Europe apparently. So it means he can go to an Argentinian club in a couple of years for free meaning he can get a good wedge as a signing on fee and wages.

Imagine there is some clause as well that would prohibit for argument sake that Melbourne City sign him on a free and either then loan him or sell him to us.

Ah , makes sense . Guess Messi is going to dodge the best league in the world , would have been surreal to see if he could cope with the pace and physicality of the PL in our lifetime , shame really .
