I don’t agree he played a key role, although he did score our only goal against Bournemouth in the run in and he scored the third goal which secured the result in the final game against Brighton.

Agreed. No "key role", but for the games he did get minutes in he started to fit in with the team more and played well.

He played 2 of the last 3 games I believe and definitely the last one and I believe the FA cup final as well no?

This is part of our problem at corners that is often ignored. Gundo can take a good corner too.
