Before their 4-0 thrashing of Atalanta a couple of weeks back, they'd only won one CL group stage game this millennium (beating Arsenal 2-1 a few years ago).

Lots of dodginess in the Croatian league, and Dinamo were run by Zdravko Mamic - currently a fugitive - until a few years ago. The only season they haven't won their league in the past decade is the one which followed some of the scandals they've been embroiled in being revealed. Since then, they've 'miraculously' returned to form in the domestic league.

the only thing that you can safely predict about tonight’s game is that they will be a bunch of snide cunts. eastern europeans always are.
