Soon as i knew Clowninho was definitely in goal, behind our decimated defense i knew the game would be all but over within the first 20 minutes.

Why the fuck can Pep never, ever be pragmatic.

We should have played with a back 5,nullify their wing backs.Instead we go there and play to their strengths.

Pep is a great manager, his stubbornness is his Achilles heel though.

Occasionally we need to shut up Shop, kill a game first, then maybe win it late.

Monaco 2 seasons ago in the Champions League is a Prime example. We go there with a healthy first leg win only needing a Draw.We were incapable of killing the game.

Season after in the Champions League we do the same thing we do every time we visit Anfield "Assume the postion"

His Stubbornness will stop him being wived as a truly great manager. His lack of pragmatism is the culprit.

We should have been Champions of Europe last season.KDB on the bench in the first Leg was criminal, and cost us.

Not sure what Pep was expecting today with the Clown in Net and our decimated 3 man defense against Liverpool front 3 and attacking fullbacks..

Even the RAGS managed to grind out a 0-0

Scousers are not that special...

We played to their strengths, not ours.

Fucking hate them.

Brilliant summary. Agreed.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

No idea what Qualities Pep sees in Gundogan that he dosent see in Fodden.

I know which one i would rather be with in the heat of a battle at Anfield. Not saying Gundogan is a bad Footballer,Just that when the going gets tough,Gundogan gets going, disappears.Hides in plain sight on the Pitch.

He has mastered the art of making himself unavailable for the Ball.

Bang on. Absolutely bang on. I've said it before, he's Graham Baker.

I am not saying you are wrong but John Stones is the only true defender on that pitch for us, once again he looked like he needed a minder. His demise has got to be sorted, even if it is get rid of him, he also looks like a player from the 80's dark rings around his eyes, piss pot pro stealing a living.

Bravo: Terrible yesterday not even good enough as a No 2.
Walker: Average performance.
Stones: 3.5 maybe at best 4 out of 10.
Fern: Out of position. A 34 year old midfielder picked ahead of otter. Doesn't say a lot for otter.
Angelino: very decent going forward, suspect defensively. Probably would have been better as a wing back.
Gundo: Anybody could be forgiven for thinking he wasnt on the pitch.
Kev: well below his best.
Rodri: same, returning from injury.
Sterling: practically anonymous in the first half but had a uch better 2nd half.
Aguero: shite in front of goal.
Bernardo: best of them, but still not at his best.

Jesus: Not good enough.
Pep: Poor team selection and set up, poor game management.

Rodri actually turned his back for their third goal. Like a 5 year old on a Saturday morning. It was embarrassing

I'm still fuming about this game. If we forget the handball and offside for second, what about all the other decisions made by the ref?

Sterling clearly pushed in the back whilst on goal.

Fouls on Sterling given the opposite way, twice.

They committed twice as many fouls yet get no cards, we got 2.

And a multitude of other decisions that seemed very obscure.

Pep was absolutely fuming and his comments post-match about the media go knocking on PiGMOLs door said it all for me. He obviously though t we played the better game but were fucked over by the ref's. He gets it completely now.

I don't think Raheem could win a fight at a kindergarten.

And yet we took the game to them and dominated for long periods.
And they needed dodgy VAR decisions to beat us.

Correct. We made the european champions play on the counter on their own patch.

If we brought Muric back from Forest (he can learn more on our bench than he can on theirs) and got rid of Bravo, we could buy a centre-half in January. And we'd have a better second choice goalkeeper for our style of play, who is home-grown and knows the team inside out. And a better centre-half to play alongside Laporte when he is fit. It seems a logical step to make.

If we can find a taker for Otamendi as well, then that opens up a chance for a left back too.

We just need to find the right players now. Easy this.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
