City done by VAR again !

Postby Dubaimancityfan » Sun Nov 17, 2019 9:21 am

Melbourne City that is. On a boring international break weekend, reverted to our A-League for some action. City lead 3-1 against Brisbane Roar until 51st minute ( hat trick by Jamie Maclaren, former Roar player) but a goal and 2 late penalties saw Robbie Fowler’s side take all 3 points. The 2nd penalty on 83rd minute was missed by the ref but awarded by VAR. The ref actually checked the pitch side monitor before giving it. So our terrible week continues !

The soft arse stuck his arm up to protect his face, always a penalty.

Not worth reading. Just wondering how many times we'll return to this thread.

What integrity was left has now been shredded. Every goal that doesn't suit the Sky/PL narrative is scrutinised to the finite and then disallowed whilst the ref's don't give the obvious.

No objectivity, no impartiality, this is just blatant manipulation in favour of the chosen few.

They don't care, but I do. They want you to walk away as you have integrity but City fans are bigger than that. We have integrity and loyalty to our club.

We fight 'til the end.

It's weird. We weren't shown the Salah goal the other week when he was offside. So weird that.

Decision made very quickly. It’s almost as if they knew it was added time and wanted to give enough time for a reaction.

Corrupt mate not weird.
Just watched the Sterling one on MOTD again and how they ever got the decision of him being offside is just pure blatant cheating.
Did anyone else see them drawing the lines for the VAR decision live on Sky yesterday? They drew the first set of lines and Sterling was onside....so they just moved them up a little to where it makes Sterling off and left them there, even though it went through the defenders body

Yeah I think that was the Sheff Utd player against Spurs.
Anyone seen the 2nd dippers goal? Scramble in the box where Van Dick boots a palace player who falls...........no foul
