Fernandinho

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Fernandinho

Postby City64 » Tue Dec 24, 2019 11:44 am

An interview with Riyhad Mahrez and Benjamin Mendy today sees Mahrez suggest Fernandinho will leave us at the end of the season . Mendy,s expression says it all really . Wish players would be more professional and leave this sort of stuff to the club . Fern will be a huge loss and another long standing player career ends ,without doubt the best cdm we have ever had and will ever have imho .

I wouldn't want to be played out of position if I was him. Can't blame him.

With regard to Mahrez and Mendy - were they filming Dumb and Dumber 3?

I dont think Fernandhino is enjoying his role this season and who can blame him.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Hey can you play an entire season in a new position in a system that asks you, in your mid 30’s, to defend one v one high up the pitch.

Don’t see his issue really
Tracking back is overrated.

Only leader of note in the team at present we neef to get another 12 months on the table for him. Be interesting to see what happens when Laporte returns and whether Pep persists with Fern at CB

I think he will. Fern is morphing into Mascherano and Toure at Barcelona, whereby the holding midfielder drops a little deeper into defence allowing the full backs to press and be higher up the pitch.

Good news, this guy keeps himself in good shape, so no worries about his age
